Patient Representatives

Dear patients and patient organisations,

As host of this multidisciplinary gathering, we consider it paramount to also open the stage to patients and patient organisations. One of our Plenary Sessions, “Reality meets genetics”, is exclusively dedicated to patient-oriented topics, such as challenges and opportunities of rare diseases, patient-centered outcomes, living with a chronic disease, and advances in individualised treatments.

SSIEM 2022 provides a platform of connection and interaction for national and international patient organisations and to join forces. Therefore we have organized a side meeting for patients and patient representatives, which will take place on Wednesday, August 31^st. Additionally we invited a member of EURODIS, the head organisation for rare diseases in Europe.

As we are especially welcoming patients and patient representatives, special conference rates are offered, hence the attendance on Wednesday will be free of charge for patients and patient representatives.
