Special Awards Session
Abstracts of exceptional originality and importance, completed after 19 April 2022 may be considered for oral presentation in the Special Awards Session on Friday if submitted before 17 July 2022 directly by e-mail to ssiem@intercongress.de. These abstracts will not be included in the digital issue of Abstracts. In past years most abstracts submitted late could not be accepted and were rejected.

Abstract Awards
Best Poster Awards
We will give the ten best posters a special opportunity to present their abstracts within the poster walk in our innovative Scientific Theatre. The best abstract will receive an award granted by SSIEM of 500 EUR and the runner-up of 250 EUR.
Special Awards Session
The two best presentations in the Special Awards Session, after due evaluation by a selected Committee, will receive an award granted by SSIEM of 1,000 EUR for the first place and 500 EUR for the runner-up.

Boost your career and participate actively in the SSIEM Symposium, which will be an extraordinary occasion for the exchange of thoughts and experiences with key opinion leaders.
Accepted abstracts in oral and printed forms will be published in a supplement of the JIMD (Journal of Inherited Metabolic Disease).
